Can I rent a car in one location and drop it in another in Ankara?
Yes, ONE WAY RENTALS are possible. It means you pick up your rented car in one location and drop it off in a different one. In order to see the possibility, please check our website and enter a different location for the drop-off. In some cases, you can also choose a different country to drop off the car. The local supplier needs to bring the car back to the original destination. Therefore, they will charge you an extra fee on arrival. Some rental car agencies do have the ONE WAY fee included in the rental price. Others will charge is as an extra on arrival. We always recommend checking terms and conditions for the selected agency to see if it is included or not.
How are rental prices calculated?
Please be advised as an online car rental broker our prices can changing constantly. Since we are working with different local companies, we can negotiate the prices better and do have most likely better rates than the local companies. However, our rental day is based on 24 hours. We do not rent cars per hour. If you wish to rent a car for a few hours only you have to pay a full rental day. For instance, if you decide to pick up the car at 10:00 am and drop it off the same day at 22:00 pm you will still be charged for 24 hours rental as we do not provide rates for half day.
Can I cross the border with my rental car?
Crossing the border with a rental car is possible. It depends on renting location, the country you wish to travel to and the local car rental supplier. Please check the terms and conditions in order to see if your required cross-border is possible. The local agency might charge an additional fee. Travel to some countries can be forbidden by the supplier. Planning your holidays with car rental please, make sure that cross-border will be possible for selected countries. Read terms and conditions in order to check all possible extra fees regarding cross-border in order to avoid surprises on arrival to the local office. Please advise the local agent also on arrival where you would like to travel.
What is going to happen if I cause a damage to the rental car?
The driver is responsible for any damage on the rented car. The amount can be up to the blocked deposit on your credit card. For any accident caused, you will need to get a police report. Please also contact directly the local rental car agency. They will instruct you what is the procedure. If you don't have taken out any extra insurance, you might be charged up to the deposit amount blocked on your credit card. If you have a full comprehensive refund insurance, please ask for the invoice of the damage by the local company. With the invoice, you can request a refund by the insurance.
How long it takes to unblock the deposit?
There is a security deposit blocked on your credit card meanwhile the rental. It will be unblocked on the safe return of the car. In case of any damages caused during your car rental period, a certain amount can be discounted from your deposit. The amount of blocked security deposit may last up to 20 working days to appear back on your credit card. This process totally depends on the banks involved. If 20 days passed and you still not see the security deposit amount at your account we recommend contacting car rental agency direct.
